This has been the best Christmas, it really has. Even though Carter didn't understand much about presents and Santa, I know he understood being with his family. That's what counts anyways. We took it easy with presents (ha! We always seem to because of money, jobs, etc!) At least this time it was because we were saving for our trip to San Diego which we were leaving for the day after Christmas, no boxing day parties for us, oh well...!
Here is Carter's FAVORITE present it's a cookie monster that counts cookies with his... you guessed it mouth. He talks and sings as well, this one ended up coming with us on our trip. I should mention it's from Lance's family, and when I say Lance I really mean thanks Emily lol!
Please excuse the overload of pictures from here on.
Baby cell phone, he always uses random things pretending it's a phone and talking on them!
Don't look at the obviously tired (& pale) woman here, I put this picture to show that Carter was interested in everything BUT the presents like ornaments, and the computer...
Helping Carter tear into his stocking pear, he loves pears so much I handed it to him 5 seconds later I turn back to him and it's pretty much gone! This is the Christmas corner, we put everything back in the corner and blocked it off so we didn't have to constantly keep picking up ornaments and tree parts.
Such a boy, already stuffing paper in Cookie's mouth, this is just about the only one good picture I got of Carter on Christmas.
After lunch we headed over to Grandmas and Grandpas (Don's parents) to open our gifts to and from them. We really do have two of the best grandparents in the world, they love him so much, he loves them too. We're fortunate that they live just down the street practically and that grandma watches Carter for us, SO lucky! (I guess it doesn't hurt that he is the 1st grand kid either...)
More presents, this kid made out like a bandit.
