It got fixed! (For now ...) and while they were fishing around they found a broken exhaust pipe as well LOL! That is the true story of our 'Pride of Alpine' school buses very old and very used. BUT we have to keep them working they are way to expensive to keep buying new ones, there over 100,000 dollars each!

Hope it gets fixed! For the 3rd time, and 3rd week in a row (last two times happened on a lovely Monday morning) the gas pedal on my bus stops working. It likes to stop working while students are on board and I'm in the middle of a busy intersection!!! Everything runs fine and dandy during and after my pre-trip inspection but for some reason once every week while students or on, or right before I pick my students up the gas pedal will randomly 'go dead' on me. I push it and nothing happens and I'm dead in the water where I sit, and then it continues to do it. This is getting to be really annoying I hope they actually fix it this time or they're not going to like what I have to say about it...

BRRRRR

It's been SO cold outside the past couple of days, its been really hard to leave my warm cute little bundle behind in the morning and go to work and warm up my big cold bus! And no, I do not mean my dog, he is ca-ray-z he's been begging to be let outside in these frigid temps. I know he's bred for this kind of weather but it still doesn't seem right to let him stay out too long. All the bank signs have read in the negative in the morning before I go pick up at my stops. The kids see the bus and RUN to me before I can even stop all the way (dangerous...) I normally get on to them when they do that, but I have let it slide in these temps. OH and we know most jr. high kids are too cool to wear a jacket anyways... crazies! Oh well Mr. Groundhog Phil predicted an early spring wahoo!  If only I believed in that crap...
