Haircuts and pictures

Carter got his summer haircut today (at cookie cutter's of course). They have balloons, suckers, pedal cars converted into kid barber chairs and cartoons every kind of distraction possible so they can use those buz clippers on him without a freak out.

Day Camp

Our activity day girls had their day camp last week, I don't know who had more fun their leaders or them! I have recently been released from activity days because of my new calling, and I'm going to miss it SO much. (NEVER thought I'd say that.) Teresa (the other leader) and I have really gotten along on everything and the girls have loved activity days, ALL the girls usually make it to the activities. It goes to show we must be do something right? Back to Day Camp we had 7 of our girls go and 5 from the older group. A few of our girls really wanted to go but had other important things scheduled for that day/ week. Here are a few of the pictures. 

 Funny thing, there are at least 3 girls that are from another ward join in on this picture, I didn't have the heart to tell them they had to get out of the picture...

 

One of our stations was a craft, the girls made beaded necklaces, after they were finished they had stilts! (Yes Teresa and I took park in that too.)

The scouts ran the camp and let me tell you these boys loved all the attention they were getting from these girls! Even if the were a year or two older than them.

Here's Teresa rockin' her stilts. We were honestly the only leaders that participated in every station just about. All of the other lady leaders were sitting in chairs. It was a really fun day!

Memorial Day 2012

We had a relaxing Memorial Day (that's what I'm alllll about, no big parties.) Don slept after he worked all night, and I had work off. For dinner we had pizza outside at Grandma's and Grandpa's!
