A great week

Last week was a great week. I made an effort to stay positive and I'm thinking that it paid off. It didn't hurt that it also just happened to be the week of my birthday... ;) I started a new special needs run that's after my two junior high's. I have three little ADORABLE autistic pre-schoolers. That went pretty good considering I didn't have an aid the first two days.
I got the most awesomest birthday present ever and I absolutely LOVE it! Before I tell ya what I got here's a short history: my phone I had for 3 three years that I liked (but was starting to fall apart, literally) broke. We have a bunch of old dinosaurs phones laying around so I went back to using a razor, yuck. I DO like the design and it works and holds up great but I need a decent camera on it and it was lacking seeing as it was a dinosaur cell phone... I've been always complaining about wanting a great picture phone it just so happens that Apple finally released the iphone 4 awhile back with a much better camera, and I got it! It was a refurbished so it was only half the price and its white, hurray!
We went out to dinner on friday to Tucanos, yum. Oh and something quick we did on my actual birthday was Menchies frozen yogurt, double yum.
Then Saturday we took Carter on his first all day Xcursion! Let's just say I worried more than I needed to because he did great! He's a mover now so I wasn't looking forward to keeping him strapped into his carseat all day while he screams. But we had a lot of stops to give him a break and keep him happy. And we got to see some beautiful fall colors. We went with a few of our friends (fellow Xterra owners UXOC.) It worked out great Carter sleep great that night, it was an amazing week! I'm so blessed.
I had to throw this last one in, because it's just so darn cute.

The W's

I have always wanted a picture of me walking my dog. I have always loved walking my dog. The entire first year we had Koda he would get TWO walks a day sometimes. This in part because of all the puppy energy he had. But still.... there's just something special to me about being outside with a girls best friend, in my case my beautiful (stubborn) malamute!

Please excuse my dorky-ness. We spotted a rainbow on our walk!
I have to credit that Don and Carter were apart of this walk, the more, the merrier! Walks now consist of me pushing a stroller and holding on to Koda hopping there a no loose dogs! Koda's gotten a little better. It was not fun at first getting him use to walking next to a stroller!
The Fam
Hahaha, I love it. Everyone's face: "can we please go now!?"
Please?! Now! Koda gets SO excited for walks, poor dog wish I could do it more.
Yes we've resorted to not actually saying the word 'walk' around Koda there now known as the W's.
