We had a very fun and busy Easter weekend. Saturday morning we went to Carter's 2nd cousins Baptism. We had an Easter egg hunt after with lunch. Carter's first time hunting for the eggs, we had a hard time convincing him it was okay to let go of his eggs into his basket. He did not want to let go of the eggs, thus only having a few eggs at a time. And he thought it was ok to 'borrow' eggs from the other little kids baskets!
He LOVES little play houses, he is playing with his cousin Alice (6mos apart) in Roy's familys little play house. Later that day we went shopping with his Grandma Gloria, and had her over for a visit and a lite dinner. Sunday we went to church in the morning chilled that afternoon then headed for Easter dinner at Great Grandma and Grandpa's with all of the Harrison's. And Carter played the entire time in their .... playhouse as well! He is so cute, we received dozen's of compliments the entire weekend about how cute he was all dressed up.
He got lots of fun little things from Grandma Raelynn; an Elmo tin lunch pale filled with little books, a ball, a puzzle and some treats. The Easter bunny left him a basket filled with a small measuring tape (he loves) and truck that rumbles & vibrates, and a small ducky, and lots of little candies! It was great to have him be able to understand and do more on this holiday.
OH and mom also got him some fake mustaches for his basket, a must... I must say!
